Managing Behaviour Successfully

Do you want to have the best leaders?

Do you want improved workplace outcomes?

Do you want better staff retention rates?

This Program Could Be Your Solution!

What is 'Managing Behaviour Successfully?'
'Managing Behaviour Successfully' is a structured program of personal and professional development, tailored to a work environment. It is crucial to the success of your workplace.

The program concerns the management of behaviour, emotions, and relationships. These factors profoundly affect success in workplaces and are not part of technical skills training. Managers who understand their staff have a head start in getting the best outcomes. Staff who are happy are less likely to leave. Everyone benefits!

The program uses the Enneagram model of personality patterns. Content includes workshops, activities and coaching.

Aims of the Program

To increase efficiency, productivity, profitability,  harmony and morale by improving communication, collaboration and cooperation and bringing out the best in each person.

Benefits of the Program
Individuals who attend will gain skills to:

•   Understand and manage their emotions and behaviour
•   Understand the motivations and behaviour of others
•   Communicate, collaborate, cooperate and work more effectively
•   Better manage relationships
•   Guide their career choices

•   Contribute to a more effective, positive workplace environment

Workplaces will benefit by:
•   Improved workplace outcomes and profitability
•   Improved workplace communication
•   Improved workplace relationships

•   Improved conflict-resolution
•   Improved job-selection
•   Improved workplace harmnony and morale - a healthier workplace culture

Rationale
The program is designed to maximize the effectiveness of people, teams and leaders by improving the emotional intelligence competencies of intrapersonal and interpersonal skills (self-management and relationship management) in individuals.

Poor levels of self-awareness and the inability to manage change and stress can cause downwardly spiralling behaviour patterns. These have negative effects on workplaces. By addressing the causes of behaviour mismanagement, constructive behavioural change can be initiated, producing more positive outcomes for workplaces and for the individuals concerned.
The program promotes positive behaviour by addressing the causes of problems such as aggression and indecision. Workplaces with behaviour problems will improve. Workplaces that are already high-functioning will be enriched. Participants will benefit personally and practically. They are active agents in their development, rather than just passive recipients of information. Wouldn't you like to know how behaviour is impacting your workplace?

.Who will Benefit from this Program?
Attendance is of value to anyone who works with others or with the public, especially key personnel, managers, leaders, or human resource or sales personnel. Public sector, government, private sector businesses and corporations, education, community and youth groups will all benefit. The program can be targeted at leaders or tailored to other groups. Ideal for groups, team-building and leadership development. Available outside the workplace for groups of private individuals.

What is Required for the Program to Succeed?
A genuine commitment to its aims and methodology, openness to new ideas, willingness to undertake the required activities in and outside workshops and a resolve to communicate honestly during coaching interviews.
